The Prague Histories mobile app is based on the experience of presenting historical content directly on the spot where it took place in history. With the help of GPS, users visit places within a number of thematic trails leading them to points of interest where vintage photographs, old film shots, and radio recordings start off. The audio-visual recordings of historical events are presented precisely at the spots and from the actual angles where the photos, audio or films were taken. The app offers relevant information, and with newer and more powerful mobile devices 3D objects appear via augmented reality.
